May 24 Class Activities
Please complete a Current Events write up. What this means:
1. Find articles of interest to you that relate to each of the following categories: State-wide, National, World
(this means you should have three articles about separate topics).
2. Write a summary (this should be about a paragraph) and a reflection/analysis (this should also be about a paragraph... or more if you have good insightful stuff!). Make sure you connect the event to its category.
3. Make sure you provide a link to the article.
4. Email it to me.
Next, take a look at this TED Talk:

Monopoly Podcasts
Today, you will view the podcasts on Monopoly, however, this time they were done by a guy named Sal Khan.
You do not HAVE to view the first one, "Perfect Competition," but he does refer to it in the Monopoly podcasts so it might be helpful (his videos are one big lecture broken into smaller videos so it's sort of a continuation) and/or good review.
You DO have to view the following videos:
All links can be found here.
When you are finished, please work in small groups on the problems section at the end of chapter 10 of your textbook.
Please let me know if you have any questions!

Cost and Production
Please view this podcast for next class. You can expect a quiz on this podcast and the two previous ones on Friday. If you are at all confused, please bring your questions to class. If you hope to figure it out on your own, you may refer to chapter 8 and 9 in your textbook. You may stop this podcast at 7:00; perfect competition will not be part of this unit.
